BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Grand Jury has indicted 32-year-old Rod Swim for First-Degree Premeditated Murder with a Firearm for the shooting death of his wife on August 7, 2021.

The investigation revealed that Titusville Police responded to a 911 call around 1:20 pm on August 7 from Rod Swim stating that he had shot his wife, later identified as 29-year-old Sarah Swim, after a domestic argument at the couple’s home at 4320 Coquina Avenue.

When police arrived, they found Sarah Swim already dead and suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Mr. Swim was arrested and held on No Bond.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from Titusville Police Investigators and the Brevard Medical Examiner, and a lay witness before returning with the indictment.

Swim is being held on No Bond at the Brevard County Jail and no trial date has been set yet.
