Palm Bay Police Chief Moya held a swear-in ceremony for newly hired members, including Desk Booking Specialist Corinne Torres, Officer Johnny Teague and Officer Derrick Mitchell. (PBPD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police Chief Moya held a swear-in ceremony for newly hired members, including Desk Booking Specialist Corinne Torres, Officer Johnny Teague and Officer Derrick Mitchell.

Desk Booking Specialist Torres comes to the department from the Department of Corrections and will assist Palm Bay police officers with the detention process.

Officer Teague joins the department fter serving several years as a police officer in Kentucky.

Officer Mitchell previously worked at the Brevard County jail and is excited to start his goal of being a police officer.
