Eastern Florida State College Falls to Gulf Coast State College 74-53

Titans Fall to 9-6 on the season

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA   – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team fell to Gulf Coast State College at the South Georgia Tech Classic Saturday night in Americus, Georgia.

The Titans got off to a good start, leading the ninth-ranked Commodores 21-17 and trailed by three points at halftime.

But Gulf Coast State College had a big fourth quarter to pull away for the 74-53 victory and improve to 10-1 on the season.

Freshman Skye Williams led the Titans with 17 points while teammate Tynasia Bunting finished with 13 points.

Eastern Florida State College (9-6) will play Georgia Highlands at 4 p.m. Sunday in the tournament.
