ORLANDO, FLORIDA – UCF QB McKenzie Milton suffered a terrible injury in the second quarter of the USF game in late November and was taken to a Tampa hospital.

Since the injury, Milton’s blood flow was restored to his right leg. While the nerve in his leg was injured, it still remained intact, saving his leg.

Milton also had to have reconstructive surgery to repair his knee.

Despite all of this, Milton is making a comeback and making significant strides in recent weeks.

On Wednesday, Milton posted a video on Instagram of him leg pressing 40 pounds.

“Thanking God for the miracles I see everyday in my life,” said Milton.

“Went from almost losing my leg to leg pressing 40-pounds in a little over a month. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. God is definitely at work..it’s gonna be a long process but it’ll be one hell of a story.”

Milton had a remarkable year for the UCF Knights as the junior signal caller recorded over 3000 all-purpose yards and 34 total touchdowns.
