Cocoa Man Arrested For Possessing Meth With Intent To Sell, Second Suspect Arrested

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – BCSO North Precinct Deputy Josh Ellison conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Highway 1 and Camp Road in Cocoa on Thursday.
Deputy Ellison made contact with the driver, Dennis Frede who advised he did not have a valid driver’s license.
Further investigation by Deputy Ellison uncovered that Frede was a “Habitual Traffic Offender.”
A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a bag containing thirteen individual small clear baggies and a clear container that contained a crystal-like substance.
The contents of both bags field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Frede was charged with Driving While License Suspended with Knowledge and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell.
The passenger in the vehicle, Melissa Harrington was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both Frede and Harrington were transported to the Brevard County Jail with Frede being held on a bond of $9,500 and Harrington on a bond of $2,000
