Ann Elicia Siegel Beck, age 93, passed away at home on January 10, 2019. She worked for Melbourne Airport and then 19 years for the City of Melbourne Engineering Department.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Ann Elicia Siegel Beck, age 93, passed away at home on January 10, 2019.

Ann, as known to family and friends, was the wife of the late Robert Thomas Beck, daughter of the late Carl and Nevies Siegel and sister of the late Albert George Siegel. She was a loving mother to her sons, Bob Jr. and Bill and daughter, Bonnie.

Ann was born in Englewood, New Jersey, and graduated from Miami Beach High School.

She worked for the Chief Pilot, Pan American World Airways, in Miami where she met her future husband Bob, who was a pilot for the airline. After the birth of their last child, Ann and Bob moved to Melbourne in 1955 and built their home where Ann lived for 64 years.

After her children graduated high school, Ann worked briefly for the (old) Melbourne Airport and then 19 years for the City of Melbourne Engineering Department.

Ann loved visiting with family and friends, hosting family gatherings, cooking, traveling, working in her yard and gardens and playing bridge.

Ann is survived by her children, Robert Thomas Beck Jr. of Belton, Texas and Melbourne, Florida, William Paul Beck (Gail) of Tallahassee, and Bonnie Beck Hunter (Vic Bartfay) of Palm Bay; granddaughter, Laura Beck Dozier (Steve) of Cape Coral; nephew, David Siegel (Kathy) of Carmel, California; niece, Michele Siegel Ashley (Patrick) of Bermuda Dunes, California and grand nephews and nieces.
