Randale Parks, 31, arrested after police find 38 grams of cocaine in his car

Cocoa Police arrested 31-year-old Randale Parks, a four-time convicted felon, on Wednesday after routine traffic stop resulted in police finding around 38 grams of cocaine and two grams of ecstasy.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police arrested a four-time convicted felon on Wednesday after routine traffic stop resulted in police finding around 38 grams of cocaine and two grams of ecstasy.

The suspect identified as 31-year-old Randale Parks from Rockledge.

Police say Parks has had a history of violent crimes and drug offenses.

According to the report by police, Officer Rock Contardi conducted a routine traffic stop on Parks in the area of Lake Drive and Peachtree St.

During the course of the traffic stop, Parks consented to a vehicle search after Parks became nervous and began fidgeting and moving objects around in his vehicle.

Parks refused to comply with Officer Contardi’s commands to stop moving and to keep his hands still and visible, according to the report.

The search resulted in police finding approximately 38 grams of cocaine, approximately 2 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy), and $875 cash.

Parks is currently in the Brevard County Jail and is facing a max sentence of 30 years in prison for each felony charge if a jury finds him guilty.

The area Parks was pulled over has been the focus of increased proactive enforcement by police due to citizen concerns of illegal drugs and prostitution activity.
