BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Fire Department announced the passing of Battalion Chief Brook Smith on Saturday.

A spokesperson with the Titusville Fire Department released the following statement:

“It is with incredible sadness that we write of the passing of Battalion Chief Brook Smith.

Chief Smith will be remembered for his fun enthusiastic attitude, passion for the fire and police services and his love of his fellow brother and sister firefighters and officers.

With his over 15 years of service with the Titusville Fire Department and also over a decade of service with the Titusville Police Department, Brook had a strong compassion serving and helping others. Brook will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

We will provide further updates on any memorial services as we are made aware.

Please keep Brook’s beautiful family, coworkers and friends in your thoughts and prayers as we work through these difficult times together.
