One March Madness Bracket Beats 281 Trillion-to-One Odds and Remains Perfect After First Weekend

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA– With 15 games to play in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, one perfect bracket remains across all major online bracket games.

Center Road”, who entered into the NCAA.com Bracket Challenge, heads into the Sweet 16 next weekend a perfect 48 for 48.

Heading into Sunday’s games there were just two perfect brackets but ‘Court Stormers from Yahoo’s Tournament Pick-Em incorrectly picked Buffalo to upset Texas Tech leaving just one perfect bracket heading into the Sweet 16.

The chances of accurately predicting the Sweet 16, as “Center Road” did, are about 1 in 281 trillion.

The odds are so astronomical that billionaire Warren Buffet has offered to pay any of his employees who predicted the Sweet 16 $1 million per year for life.

With 15 games to play in the 2019 NCAA Tournament games, there is just one perfect bracket left across all major online bracket games.

Entering Friday, only about 60,000 of the tens of millions of brackets submitted online went 16-for-16 on the first day of the Tournament.

NCAA.com says correctly picking 40 games is a new record for maintaining a perfect bracket. The previous mark was 39 games in 2017. The NCAA website lists the odds of completing that feat at just 1 in 1,099,511,627,776. (1 trillion).

“Center Road”  has a Final Four that includes Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga and Kentucky to reach Minneapolis, with Gonzaga beating Kentucky in the title game.

In the Space Coast Daily Bracket Challenge, our very own Alan Zlotorzynski (The Peoples Champ) leads the field with 570 points heading into the Sweet 16.

New Palm Bay Pirate head basketball coach Deuel Fider is second with 550 points and last year’s champ, Sammy Manguel is very much in the hunt with 530 points.

Zlotorzynski stormed to the lead in the Round of 32 as he collected all 320 possible points on Saturday and Sunday.
