SpaceX Falcon Heavy Rocket Launch From Kennedy Space Center Postponed To Wednesday

HIGHLIGHTS: SpaceX Makes History With Historic Launch of Falcon Heavy Rocket Last Year.

BREVARD COUNTY • KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLORIDA – SpaceX’s next launch from Florida’s Space Coast has been pushed back again to Wednesday, April 10, as the Falcon Heavy will lift off at Kennedy Space Center carrying the Arabsat 6A communications satellite.

Launch window will open at 6:35 p.m. ET

The launch was set for Tuesday and was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 7.

According to SpaceFlight Now, Arabsat 6A will provide Ku-band and Ka-band communications coverage over the Middle East and North Africa regions, as well as a footprint in South Africa.

The Arabsat 6A communications satellite is made by Arabsat of Saudi Arabia.

The Falcon Heavy will be the second Falcon Heavy launch since last year’s historic launch which was heralded as the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two.
