Port Canaveral Parking Plan will be in effect

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch is currently scheduled for Thursday, April 11, with the window opening 6:35 p.m. through 8:35 p.m.

Watching the launch from Port Canaveral is very popular and many thousands of people have enjoyed spectacular views from the Port.

On Wednesday, April 10, parking at Port Canaveral will be limited and traffic in and around the Port will be controlled to ensure public safety, ease traffic congestion and promote a safe arrival and departure from the Port.

Launch watchers should decide in advance where to park their car and follow signs to their desired lot at Port Canaveral.
Parking in Port Canaveral lots will cost $15.00 (Cash-only, NO credit cards)

Due to arriving and departing cruise ship traffic, anyone planning to watch the launch from Port Canaveral is strongly encouraged to delay arriving at the Port until after 2 p.m.

Please review the Port’s parking and traffic flow plan included below and choose the parking lot that offers the most efficient exit to the return trip roadway.

Electronic and fixed signs on SR 528 and SR A1A, and on roadways and intersections on Port will direct motorists arriving at the Port to park in designated parking areas.

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies, parking lot attendants and Port staff will be at key traffic intersections around the Port to assist motorists.

JETTY PARK
Regular per-vehicle admission will apply;
Lot will close when maximum number of vehicles has been reached.
Departing motorists will be directed onto N. Atlantic Blvd Southbound
(or George King Blvd depending on traffic conditions).

COVE PARKING FOR RESTAURANTS
Free parking for restaurant patrons only and until lot is filled.

NO PARKING AREAS FOR LAUNCH VIEWING
(WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED)
Exploration Tower and lot closed for private event.
Boat Ramp is exclusively for boats and trailers using the boat ramp only.

NO parking allowed on State Road 401
NO parking allowed on State Road 528 median – entire length

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Paved lot on Mullet Drive to the north of the Exploration Tower
Motorists can exit to SR 528 or SR A1A

IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE TO CITY OF CAPE CANAVERAL, COCOA BEACH, SR520 OR TO POINTS SOUTH ON SR A1A
Use Lots C, D, E, F, G, H, I
