BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested “Fishing for Fugitives” suspect Michael Ryan Charles as Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey comes to you from the beautiful Jetty Park at Port Canaveral.

In this episode, Sheriff Ivey featured his “Catch of the Day” as 27-year-old Michael Ryan Charles.

Charles is wanted for Violation of Community Control (VOCC) reference to Possession f Heroin and VOCC reference to 2 counts of Acquiring or obtaining a controlled substance by Fraud.

Sheriff Ivey says that Charles was known to be in the “waters of the Cocoa area” and was last “hooked” July 25, 2018.

Charles has no bond.

“If you’re the ‘Catch of the Day,’ you know what to do, turn yourself in and do the right thing – don’t make our Fugitive Unit come to get you. Because if you don’t turn yourself in, I promise you, they aren’t far from your house,” said Sheriff Ivey.

“Let’s make the Space Coast a safer place to live by assisting the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of wanted fugitives, or in this case, the chance to “Hook ’em and Book ’em.”
