ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando City SC (3-4-2, 11 points) fell to Toronto FC (6-1-2, 19 points) 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Orlando City Stadium. The Lions will now leave Central Florida for a two-match roadtrip to take on Atlanta United and Seattle Sounders.

Head Coach James O’Connor:
“I think, obviously, not what we were hoping for. I think first half we seemed to do a decent enough job of limiting them, they probably had a little more possession than us but I think as regard to clear cut chances, they didn’t really have a whole lot in the first half,” Head Coach James O’Connor said.

“I think our expectation was the second half to have something similar where we can go and create some chances.”

Scoring Recap:

65’ Jonathan Osorio (Michael Bradley)
Osorio opened the scoring for Toronto FC with a goal in the second half. The midfielder danced in the City box and found the back of the net with a direct shot on goal.

77’ Jay Chapman (Alejandro Pozuelo)
Chapman attempted a shot from the right wing just under Orlando City goalkeeper Brian Rowe to make it 2-0.
