BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Daily’s Chris Bonanno discusses Brevard’s Sunday weather, the local surf forecast provided by Bobby Freeman and Tropical Storm Barry.
Hurricane Barry made landfall in Louisiana and then weakened to tropical storm status on Saturday. The storm hit the Gulf Coast as a Category 1 hurricane, then brought heavy rainfall and flooding to the area knocking out power lines.
BREVARD COUNTY WEEKEND FORECAST
Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 76. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. South southeast wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
