Vehicle Lands Submerged Upside After Crash on Sykes Creek Parkway in Ulumay Refuge Area of Merritt Island

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue crews responded to a single-vehicle crash about 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The crash, which happened on Sykes Creek Parkway in the Ulumay Refuge area of Merritt Island, resulted in the vehicle being submerged upside down.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the single occupant of the vehicle was not injured and refused treatment.

Brevard County Fire Rescue units E42 and D40 were on the scene and were dealing with a minor fuel spill.
