Eastern Florida State College Men’s Soccer Team Releases 2019 Schedule

Titans finished last season 15-5-1 and reached the semifinals of the national championship tournament

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s soccer team will face six teams that finished the season in the top 20 in the nation.

The Titans finished last season 15-5-1 and reached the semifinals of the national championship tournament were fourth in the final NJCAA Division I poll and will open the new season with matches against teams ranked in the top 20 to finish last season.

After a couple of tough preseason games against UCF and South Florida, the men’s soccer team will host Morton College in the season opener at 8 p.m. on Aug. 22.

The Panthers went 19-3-1 last season and finished No. 20 in the poll.

Then the Titans will hit the road for a big weekend of soccer in Baltimore, MD, facing a CCBC Essex team who received votes in the final poll on Aug. 24. Then on Aug. 25, the Titans will play Monroe College who also made the national championship semifinals last season.

Eastern Florida State College will host Laramie County Community College at 6 p.m. on Aug. 30. Laramie received votes in the final poll.

The men’s soccer team will then go to Louisburg, North Carolina to play Wake Technical College on Sept. 6 and host Louisburg on Sept. 7. Louisburg finished last season No. 11 in the poll. Last season the Titans ended Louisburg’s season with a 1-0 win in the Southeast District semifinals.

The Titans will host Georgia Military College at 1 p.m. Sept. 15 in a rematch of the Southeast District Championship, which Eastern Florida State College won 1-0 to advance to the national tournament.

Then the men’s soccer team will open the Region 8 Conference season with a trip to Daytona State College who was No. 14 in the final poll.

The conference opener will be at 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 against ASA Miami.

Overall, the Titans will play 16 matches this season with eight of them being at Titan Soccer Complex.
