BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Wet ’n Wild Orlando has joined the Pediatrics in Brevard KIDS Club’s Healthy Lifestyle program for children.

Partnering with both Orlando and Brevard County’s most popular entertainment, food, and activity venues to offer discounted benefits, Pediatrics in Brevard continues to add new partner vendors to the KIDS Club initiative.

The newest vendor includes Wet ’n Wild Orlando, which will be discounting members with nearly 40 perecnt off adult water park rates and 30 percent off child rates.

Discount flyers can be picked up at all Pediatrics in Brevard locations.

Additional KIDS Club vendors include Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar, Firehouse Subs in Melbourne, Cheerioo Grams Entertainment, and ‘After The Laughter’ Comedy.  Cocoa Beach Health & Fitness, Beef O’ Brady’s in Viera, ‘Cookie’ the Clown, Brevard County Manatee’s, Space Coast IcePlex, Nature’s Table, and Firehouse Subs in Rockledge; Health First’s Pro-Health & Fitness Centers, Premier Theatres (The Oaks), Tropical Smoothie, The Dinosaur Store, various McDonald’s locations, Galaxy Skateway, Parisi Speed School, ‘Zumba Atomic,’ and Andretti Thrill Park.

“Our focus is to not only keep our kids healthy, but to keep them active and focused on healthy eating,” said Dr. Stephen Alvarado, Pediatrics in Brevard CEO.  “We are hoping additional vendors will join our initiative to keep Brevard County more active than that of many communities across our country.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, childhood obesity has more than tripled in the past 30 years, with more than 17 percent of all children and adolescents considered obese.
