BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Utility work has forced the closure of a street entrance in Palm Bay.

Palm Bay spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez said utility crews will be replacing a water main that crosses the C-1 Canal on Jupiter Boulevard NW on Thursday.

In order to make the necessary repairs to the water main, utility crews will need to close the east entrance to Serenade Street NW on Jupiter Boulevard NW.

The road closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to p.m. Thursday.

Residents and traffic will be able to access Serenade Street NW by way of Pyracantha Street NW and Adventure Avenue NW.

“For your safety and the safety of our staff, we ask that you please remember to drive cautiously through the work zone and detour areas,” Martinez said. “Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we work to improve our city’s infrastructure.”
