ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Palm Bay mother has been killed in a one-vehicle roll-over crash in Orange County.

Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol said Kristal Rollfinke of Palm Bay, 24, was driving a 2005 Chevy sedan eastbound on State Road 520 approaching Taylor Creek Road in the left lane about 4:45 p.m. Friday when her vehicle suddenly drifted off the roadway.

The vehicle entered the median center grass, struck a culvert and then wound up back in the eastbound lane where it overturned multiple times.

Rollfinke was pronounced dead at the scene, Montes said.

Her passengers, Abigail Goodrich of Palm Bay, 32, and Rollfinke’s daughter, Nevaeh Rollfinke, 1, sustained minor injuries.

Nevaeh Rollfinke was transported for treatment to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando. Montes said she was secured in a car seat, but the car seat was not secured to the vehicle.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the accident.
