Stormy Weather Scrubs Lakeland Game

LAKELAND, FLORIDA – Wednesday’s scheduled game between the Brevard County Manatees and Lakeland Flying Tigers at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland was washed out by heavy rain and unplayable field conditions.

Because the Manatees and Threshers do not play each other again this season, the game will not be made up.

Since last Tuesday, the Manatees have had a total of four games that were either postponed or scrubbed because of stormy weather.

Brevard County will close out the season with a four-game set against the Daytona Cubs at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach.

The first game of the series will start at 7:05 p.m. tonight and pitcher Matt Miller will start for Brevard County.
