Scorpions Surging In Prep Volleyball Standings

Satellite Now 6-3 Overall

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The Scorpions are on the rise once again in prep volleyball.

With a long-standing tradition of volleyball success, 15 postseason appearances and a proven record of placing players in college programs, Satellite High School is turning heads this season for outstanding volleyball play.

By defeating Palm Bay on Wednesday, the Scorpions are now 6-3 this season and aiming for a playoff berth after going 13-11 and reaching the  regional quarterfinals as district runner-up a year ago under veteran coach Linda Gomez.

We talked to Satellite’s  Deborah Carey, Lindsey McBride and Coach Gomez about their team’s chances in 2012 at the Brevard County Prep Volleyball Media Day held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy.
