Event to Benefit Cancer Care Centers Foundation
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – It’s time to start getting in shape, and register, for the 2012 Battle of the Bridges Triathlon. Set for Sunday, this great event offers a scenic riverside course – perfect for the novice through the seasoned triathlete which starts from Pineapple Park in Eau Gallie.
Proceeds from this year’s event will support the Cancer Care Centers of Brevard Foundation and benefit cancer patients and their families in Brevard and Indian River Counties.
This USA Triathlon sanctioned event once again promises heart pounding excitement from start to the finish. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. Over the past three years registration has closed at least a week before the race and this year it is expected to close earlier.
Sponsors include All Media Graphics, Running Zone, Revolutions Cyclery, Viera Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center, Inc. and Space Coast Triathletes.

• Race Location: Pineapple Park, 1521 Pineapple Ave. in Melbourne, Florida
• Race Start Time: 7:15 a.m. (Arrive no later than 6:15 a.m.)
• Packet Pick Up: Oct. 4 to 6, (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at Running Zone, 3696 N. Wickham Road.
