BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – With seven matches at three event dates remaining in the season, Brevard Community College head volleyball coach Herb Tokumoto is hoping his young team can exploit its system.

“We will go into tournament play striving to establish our game system and to be aggressive throughout the two days,” Tokumoto said.

BCC, 4-22, plays four matches over two days this weekend at the Lake Sumter Community College tournament and hosts Polk State College in its home finale at 7 p.m. Thursday – admission is free – and concludes the season at the Lake Sumter Tri-Match on Oct. 26.

In the Lake Sumter tournament, Brevard plays Lake Sumter at 11 a.m. Friday and South Florida State College at 3 p.m.

On Saturday it is scheduled to play Palm Beach State College at 11 a.m. and Polk State at 3 p.m.
