Docs Panarese, Sims To Perform Concert For Cancer Donors

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – There is nothing like listening to the sweet sounds of cancer survivors, and to celebrate their courage as well as to recognize the generous contributions made by local donors, Cancer Care Centers of Brevard (CCCB) and Cancer Care Centers Foundation (CCCF) will host its “Garden Party with Music in the Park” event on Friday, Nov. 2 from 5 – 9 p.m.

The free event will take place at the Riverfront Park in Cocoa Villagelocated on 401 Riveredge Blvd. in Cocoa.

The community is invited to attend this special event that features John Harper, Owner of WMEL Radio, as Master of Ceremonies and musical entertainment from two local physician-led bands including CCCB radiation oncologist Dr. Todd Panarese and thoracic surgeon Dr. David Sims.

In addition, Lilly Oncology on Canvas will display patients’ art throughout the park and there will be food, drinks, and children’s games for those in attendance.

Founded in 1993 by former CCCB Medical Director Dr. Silas Charles, CCCF was established to assist the countless number of people within its served communities who have been touched by cancer.

As a non-profit organization that strives to provide comprehensive patient and family support services, community outreach and education, financial assistance and medical and research programs, CCCF is widely recognized for its outstanding efforts in assisting patients and their loved ones to more effectively cope with cancer.
