Annual Book Sale Returns To Central Brevard Library

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Calling all readers.

The Friends of the Central Brevard Library will host their fall book sale Friday through Sunday at the library, 308 Forrest Avenue in Cocoa.

Sale items will include CDs, DVDs, and thousands of books. Prices range from $1 for paperbacks to $2 for hardcover books in much of the inventory, with coffee-table books, mint-condition books and sets going for a bit more. CDs are generally priced at $1, and DVDs at $2.

The hours of the sale will be Friday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 4 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A members-only pre-sale will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Membership in the Friends of the Library is $5 per person.

The Friends of the Library, a support organization for the Central Brevard Library, provides almost 20 percent of the library’s materials budget each year, and raises its funds primarily through its bi-annual sales of donated books, CDs and DVDs.
