Gregory DeBlasio, 64, Dies Oct. 28

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Gregory A. DeBlasio, 64, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012. He was born November 23, 1947 to Francis and the late Pasquale DeBlasio.
Greg relocated to Melbourne in 1969 from Long Island, NY to attend the Florida Institute of Technology where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He worked at the Space Center for 38 years, most recently as a Project Manager at United Space Alliance. Greg has also been a member of the TC Dance Club since 1999, where he has received multiple awards for his showcase performances.
Greg is survived by his mother, Francis; two children, Gregory Jr. and Daniel; as well as his sister, Patricia.
A viewing will be held at Beach Funeral Home West, 4999 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Monday, November 5 from 6-8pm. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday at 10:30 am at Ascension Catholic Church.
