Robber Holds Up Melbourne Chevron Gas Station

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the strong-arm robbery of the Chevron Gas Station/Convenience Store in Melbourne last Saturday night.

Brevard County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Major Vic DeSantis said about 9:10 p,.m. Nov. 10,  a white male suspect wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball cap with the word “Chicago” on the front and decorative stitching on the bill entered into the store and demanded money from the clerk.

DeSantis said there were no weapons implied or seen.

The suspect then physically confronted the clerk and escaped with cash, lottery tickets and the victim’s wallet.

He is described as standing between 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall and weighing about 170 pounds.

The suspect has a slim build and a full beard.

He was last seen on foot moving southbound on Wickham Road from the store parking lot.

The Chevron Gas Station is 1600 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne.
