BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Detectives in Rockledge are looking for a person of interest in connection with a Nov. 16 homicide.

Rockledge Police Department Community Information Officer Michael Cadore said that at 10 a.m. Nov. 16, police responded to a residence at 987 Pinson Boulevard for a report of shots fired.

Upon arriving, officers found Antonio L. Knight of Rockledge, 23, shot to death in his car parked in a carport.

Knight had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

An ensuing search of the area resulted in the temporary closure of Pinson Boulevard and a lockdown of McNair Magnet School while investigators determined what happened.

Police said initial reports indicate that several juveniles were observed fleeing the scene.

Cadore said at this time, one person of interest has been arrested on unrelated charges and is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail.

He said a second person of interest is believed to be in hiding and officers are seeking to discover his whereabouts.

Investigators continue to follow up on multiple leads, however anyone with information is encouraged to call Rockledge Police Investigator Phillips at 321-690-3213 ext. 3149,” Cadore said.

Calls may also be made anonymously to CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477) and be eligible for a $5,000 reward.
