BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A woman was found dead Friday morning in Melbourne and police are investigating her death as a homicide.

Melbourne Police Department spokesman Lt. Heath Sanders said detectives were called to a parking lot at 2404 S. Harbor City Boulevard at about 6:40 a.m. Friday regarding a deceased woman.
