VOLUSIA COUNTY • OAK HILL, FLORIDA – A 51-year-old Scottsmoor woman was killed early Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Volusia County.

Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol said Donna Scarboro was driving a 2005 Chevy SUV north on I-95 when she lost control of the vehicle while traveling on I-95 near Mile Marker 238 near Oak Hill in Volusia County about 4:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Montes said Scarboro left the roadway and continued into the center median, crashing into a tree.

The man was traveling alone and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Toxicology tests will determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Mont6es said the cause ofm the crash remains under investigation.
