Titans Off To Best Start In 13 Seasons
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – As hard as he tried throughout the pre-season and early season of non-conference games Brevard Community College head men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman couldn’t shake the thought of his team’s Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference opener.

That it was Saturday at arch rival Indian River State College made the game loom that much larger in his planning and his preparation, and more than a few perturbing thoughts.
Well Saturday finally came and to the pleasure of Shulman and his players BCC came away with a crucial 78-66 victory.
“It was a great win for our guys today,” Shulman said. “We did our best job of the year, we executed our game plan.”
BCC improved to 15-4, continuing its best start in the last 13 seasons.
That being said, a major test looms at 7 p.m. Wednesday as conference foe Palm Beach State, unbeaten and ranked third nationally heading into Saturday’s game against Broward College, comes calling at the Melbourne Campus gym.
Sophomore co-captain Nyles Evans led BCC against Indian River with 17 points, five assists and five steals.
Titans sophomore Gary Gaskins had 11 points and five rebounds; sophomore co-captain Addison Spruill 13 points and six rebounds and freshman Jure Gunjina 14 points and seven rebounds.
