Once again, Brevard County Parks and Recreation will host a series of free Movies in the Park at Wickham Park in 2013.

Movies will be shown on a giant 23-foot outdoor movie screen beginning at dusk.

All movie showings will take place at the amphitheater inside Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive, in Melbourne.

Attendance at each movie in last year’s series averaged more than 300 people and with added advertising, that number is expected to grow.

Wickham Park is currently accepting vendor applications for this series. Vendors will be able to set up a few hours prior to the movie and stay throughout. There will be a flat fee of $35 per event for all food vendors.

The free movie series is for all ages and admission to each event will be free.

Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, food, and drinks to enjoy during the movies. Movies will be shown on the first Friday of each month from March through May and from September through November.
