Freshman Look To Add Depth

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard Community College’s softball team is expecting to accomplish big things this season and that possibly includes a trip to the state championships.

Fielding a squad loaded with pitching talent and plenty of defensive experience, the Titans are ready to start play and see what they can build upon from last year.

The team will compete in the Clearwater Tournament this weekend, so Coach Ed Yanes will get an early look at how the team performs in game situations entering the new season.

We sat down with Yanes at BCC’s Spring Sports media day and asked him what he likes about this year’s team and if he thinks they can make a run at a state title.
