Introductory Athletic Program For Kids

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Start Smart, an introductory athletic program for children, is coming to the Sandrift Community Center in Titusville.

Classes for children ages 3 to 5 will be offered from 1 to  2 p.m.  every Tuesday starting Jan. 29.

Start Smart is a proven instructional program that prepares children for the world of organized sports without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt.

Parents work together with their children in a supportive environment to learn all of the basic skills like throwing, catching, kicking and batting.

The cost to participate is $30 for six weeks.

A parent or another adult must accompany child to the classes at the Sandrift Community Center at 585 N. Singleton Avenue in Titusville.

The program is sponsored by the Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department’s North Area Parks Operations.
