BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Animal Guardians of Brevard has exceeded more than 6,000 spays and neuters on the Space Coast.

Dennis Peer of Animal Guardians of Brevard said the organization would like to express our sincerest thanks to the SPCA of North Brevard and to Brevard Community Animal Hospital for their work with Animal Guardians in providing affordable sterilization services.

“Without the surgery these outstanding clinics provide to those seeking assistance from us, many cats would have probably remained intact to breed uncontrollably,” Peer said.

The sterilization of all these cats will ultimately prevent the births of hundreds or thousands of kittens doomed to die in shelters or on our streets.

“Animal Guardians is a very small organization with a very limited budget, but we have sterilized almost 6,000 cats and dogs since 2003,” Peer said. “We are the only organization in Brevard whose primary purpose is to provide financial assistance to people who cannot afford this important procedure.”

Peer said Animal Guardians relies on the generosity or its donors and the clinics they work with to provide these services.

Contributions from the public are always welcome, greatly appreciated and desperately needed.
