Crash Seriously Injures Pedestrian In Titusville

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Police are investigating a one-car crash involving a pedestrian in Titusville that left a man seriously injured.

Major Todd Hutchinson of the Titusville Police Department said Robert Rajah of Titusville,20, was struck by a 2001 Honda driven by James Sellers of Titusville, 49, on State Road 50 near near Hickory Hill Boulevard at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Hutchinson said Rajah was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Rajah was not in a crosswalk and it is unknown why he was in the roadway when he was struck.

Hutchinson said the Honda was driven to a nearby residence on St. James Street by a passenger prior to the police arriving at the scene.

Sellers remained at the scene and rendered aid to the victim.

Hutchinson said the crash remains under investigation and further details will be released at some point by traffic crash investigators.
