Zoo officials also say that the cub has passed his most recent “well-baby visit” with flying colors.

He’s growing by leaps and bounds and is up to almost 12 pounds from his birth where he weighed just 1.35 kilograms.

The cub is getting more active and enjoys keeping his mother, Masaya, busy behind the scenes.

Zoo keepers said he enjoys jumping on her and nibbling her ears.

The zoo provides a variety of items for him to bite, such palm fronds, to give his mother a break.

The zoo plans to have the cub make his exhibit debut in the coming weeks.

The cub’s father is the Brevard Zoo adult male jaguar LeBron.
