The Panthers enter as the tournament as defending champions, winning last year’s event by 33 strokes.

This year’s field will consist of two Brevard Community College teams, two Florida Tech teams, Montevallo, Saint Leo, Tampa and West Georgia.

A pair of individuals will round out the field of 41 players.

Play will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. on Monday.

The teams will play two rounds in day one and conclude with a third round on Tuesday, also beginning at 8 a.m. Fans are welcome to attend.

Last year, Florida Tech shot 12-over-par for the tournament, as then-freshman Ray Badenhorst used a five-under-par performance to secure his first collegiate victory.

The now-sophomore Badenhorst will have a change to defend his individual medal this year.

Florida Tech jumped out to a hot start this spring, placing in the top-four in the first two tournaments including a win at the Titan Winter Invitational.

However, the Panthers are looking to get back on track after a 13th place finish at the Southeastern Intercollegiate.

The Majors Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course design and measures approximately 6900 yards while featuring a par 72.
