Florida Tech Women’s Rowers Race In Fellsmere

BREVARD COUNTY • FELLSMERE, FLORIDA – For the second consecutive week, Florida Tech’s women’s rowing team will be racing at Canal 54 in Fellsmere.
Saturday’s opponent will be Barry University.
The Panthers’ women’s varsity four enters the race as the reigning Sunshine State Conference Boat of the Week presented by VALIC.
They will line up against the Buccaneers’ varsity four and second varsity four in the first event at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
FIT and Barry will then compete in the second and last race, the varsity eight at 10 a.m.
The Panthers will return to Canal 54 in Fellsmere one more time this season for competition on Saturday, March 23.
FIT women’s rowers are coached by Adam Thorstad.
