Hooters Slick-Fielding Waitress Video Goes Viral

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA – Hooters waitress, and third base ball girl, Priscilla Daughtry mistakenly fielded a live ball during a Grapefruit League game between the Tampa Bay Rays and Philadelphia Phillies during last Saturday’s game at Bright House Field in Clearwater.

Priscilla Daughtry, who works at the original Hooters in Clearwater, made a nice pick-up on the ground ball, but said she was humiliated.

“As soon as I saw it coming to me I just got anxious and I scooped it right up and went over there to hand it to him,” she said. “I didn’t know that it was a fair ball still in play until the fan in front of the little boy informed me.”

Priscilla, who works at the original Hooters in Clearwater, made a slick play on the smash down the third base line, but said she was humiliated.

“I didn’t really know how to react,” she said. “So, that’s why I covered my face.”

Priscilla said she’s just happy her ball girl job is still intact. “A lot of people think it was cute,” she said. “I’m enjoying it right now. I’m just glad like I said that it isn’t being held against me too bad. I was scared that I was going to be in trouble.”
