Aerospace Center Will Bring Jobs to Brevard

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced today that the company is designating five centers of excellence across the country, one of which will be in Melbourne, Florida.

Northrop Grumman said that it is creating these centers of excellence to improve its strategic alignment with its customers’ need for increasingly innovative and affordable products, services and solutions.
It will establish a Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence in Melbourne, which will include work currently being done at other company locations. Northrop Grumman also announced that they will establish an Aircraft Integration Center of Excellence in St. Augustine, Florida.

Brevard County a natural fit for Northrop Grumman’s new Manned Aircraft Design Center. This positive news means hundreds of new jobs for Brevard County and will provide a needed economic boost for local businesses and families.”
