Panthers Adjust Weekend Baseball Schedule

Hillsdale New Opponent on Saturday
BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A change in Florida Tech’s baseball schedule has been made to the upcoming weekend series against Palm Beach Atlantic.
The Panthers will now face Hillsdale at noon on Saturday, March 16 instead of Palm Beach Atlantic.
The Panthers and Sailfish were originally slated for a three-game weekend series starting Friday with a single game at 6 p.m. followed by a doubleheader Saturday.
The first and third game of the series will remain as scheduled, however Hillsdale will replace the middle game.
FIT and Palm Beach Atlantic will then conclude the weekend with a 3:30 p.m. game on Saturday.
All three games will still be played at the Santaluces Athletic Complex at 6880 Lawrence Road in Lantana.
Both games Saturday will be played as nine inning games instead of the usual nine inning-seven inning doubleheader format.
Florida Tech’s next contest comes against Florida Memorial on Wednesday, March 13, at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field at 6 p.m.
