Final Round Of Golf Event Today

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The  Brevard Community College men’s golf team is second after the first round on Monday of the Florida Tech’s Panther Invitational at The Majors in Palm Bay.

Second-round play of 36 holes concludes Tuesday with the third and final round of 18 holes to follow.

West Georgia University sits in first at 291-307-598.

BCC’s Blue Team shot 302-303-605 for second place. BCC’s White Team, playing with only four golfers, shot 312-317-629.

Individually for BCC Blue, Blake Biggs shot 72-75-147; Keith Greene 73-76-149; Anthony Skirk 81-72-153; Arthur Leonard 77-81-158 and Nick Maynard 80-80-160.

For the White Team, Tyler Howes shot 71-78-149; Kyle Benson 76-76-152; Nelson Apsey 84-78-162 and Brett Maue 81-85-166.

Spectators are welcome Tuesday on the par 72, 6,850-yard course.
