Weather Scrubs FIT’s Baseball Game On Tuesday

Game Will Not Be Rescheduled

MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA – Tuesday’s college baseball game between Florida Tech and Georgia College has been canceled because of bad weather in the Milledgeville area.

Officials have announced that the game will not be rescheduled.

The Panthers (15-4) will return to action Friday at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field in Melbourne to begin a three-game Sunshine State Conference contest against No. 10 Tampa at 6 p.m.

The two teams will conclude the series with a doubleheader Saturday, beginning at noon.

FIT, which is ranked  No. 25 nationally, swept to a doubleheader win at home on Sunday against Felician.

Greg Berkemeier is the head baseball coach for Florida Tech and in his fifth season at that position.
