Bank Robbery Suspect Behind Bars Following Arrest

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – A suspect wanted for robbing a bank in Palm Bay on Saturday morning has been arrested.

Palm Bay Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez said a Palm Bay Police Department  patrol officer received information from an anonymous caller that led to the arrest.

In that phone call, the name of the individual that is believed to have committed the crime was revealed.

Further investigation resulted in a positive identification of the suspect.

An arrest warrant was obtained and just before midnight Sunday and Thomas John Ingram, 26, was arrested in Palm Beach County with the assistance of the GAMEOVER Task Force.

Martinez said that at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday, a suspect entered the TD Bank at 4625 Babcock Street in Palm Bay.

The suspect approached the teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

According to Martinez, the teller complied and the suspect fled on foot in a west direction across Babcock Street.
