Bank Robbery Suspect On Loose In Palm Bay

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police detectives are currently searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery that took place in the city Saturday morning.

Palm Bay Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez said that at about 10:15 a.m. Saturday a suspect entered the TD Bank at 4625 Babcock Street.

The man approached the teller, implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

According to Martinez, the teller complied and the suspect fled on foot in a west direction across Babcock Street.

Martinez said the suspect is described as a white man about 6-foot-2 with a medium build.

He was wearing dark colored pants with double white stripes down the legs, a gray t-shirt and a dark colored  zip-up hoodie with white horizontal stripes.

Martinez said the suspect also was wearing a dark colored ball cap.

No one was injured in the robbery and an investigation has been initiated by the Palm Bay Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
