Fire Rips Through Mobile Home Clubhouse Office

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A swift-moving fire heavily damaged a clubhouse office at Groveland Mobile Home Park in Melbourne on Tuesday morning.

Neighbors reported hearing an explosion at 4651 W. Eau Gallie Boulevard just before dawn Tuesday.

No injuries have been reported in the blaze, but the fire left the clubhouse building unusable.

Crews from the Melbourne Fire Department responded to put out the fire.

Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from damaging nearby mobile homes in the park.

No word about what started the fire yet.

Groveland Mobile Home Park has 102 spaces for mobile homes and was originally developed in 1962.
