Joseph Long Arrested For Possession of Explosive Device

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Law enforcement officials arrested Joseph Long earlier today for illegal possession of a gun and explosive devices.
According to law enforcement officials, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad arrived on the scene and after examination, declared the explosive device as non-functional.
Residents on Norwood Ave. in Satellite Beach were ordered to stay in their homes while authorities inspected a house on the street before declaring an all-clear.
The investigation is ongoing by local authorities as well as the ATF and FBI.
