Palm Bay Hosts Pitch, Hit & Run Contest On Sunday

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Move over Prince Fielder and Albert Pujols, some new talent is on the way.

The city of Palm Bay will conduct the Major League Baseball and Scott’s Pitch, Hit and Run Competition at Liberty Park on Sunday, April 14.

The event starts at 9 a.m. and is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14.

It is a free event and there will ribbons awarded for individual competition category winners.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. Sunday at Liberty Park, 895 Carlyle Avenue SE in Palm Bay.

Each participant will need a copy of his/her birth certificate or baptismal record, along with a registration form signed by a parent or guardian.

No metal spikes are allowed.
