Rockledge Police Hunting Home Invasion Suspects

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Rockledge Police Department officers are looking for suspects connected to a home invasion  responded to a reported home invasion on Tuesday.

ROCKLEDGEPOLICE-225Rockledge Police Public Information Officer Lt. Donna Seyferth said officers were called to 1406 Hagen Lane in Rockledge at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a home invasion.

Seyferth said the victims reported that three black men  broke into their residence, tied them up at gunpoint and asked where the cash was kept in the resdience.

She said the suspects were unable to find cash, so they took jewelry, televisions and a Ford Explorer.

The vehicles was found a short time later and police pursuit ensued.

According to Seyferth, a suspect crashed the vehicle and escaped.

She said two other suspects are believed to have fled separately, possibly in a blue Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows and unknown license plate tag.

The suspects were reported to be wearing gloves, half bandanas over their faces and black and red sneakers.
